Your invitation for Inspiration Day
The studio opens on 20 September
On Sunday, 20 September 2026, I will open the doors of my Alkmaar studio for a day we are calling ‘Inspiration Day’. This will be the first time that the working studio, as well as the gallery, has been open to the public.
If you would like to attend, you are more than welcome. Attendance requires registration — click here
Hazenkoog 9, 1822 BS Alkmaar
Over the past year, I have received many messages from photographers, creative professionals, collectors and photography enthusiasts. Most of them were not asking about availability or prices. They wanted to see the work in person and understand how it is created.
The studio is normally a place of work. Visits happen by appointment, depending on what is on the table that week. So there has never really been an opportunity to respond to all of those messages at once.
This is that moment.
The day is not focused on buying. You are welcome to learn, look around, ask questions or simply be in the room.
Doors open at 12:00. Walk through the gallery and the working studio at your own pace. The book and archive sale are open all day, and I will be signing books in person.
15:00 — Mini masterclass: An hour with me and a guest speaker on my creative process. The guest speaker will be announced soon.
17:00 – Drinks to close the afternoon together.
18:00 — Close
THE ARCHIVE SALE
The archive sale features prints and work that are not usually for sale. These pieces will be available for one day only at accessible prices.
Once a piece is sold, it is gone.
THE FINISSAGE OF HENRO
The day also marks the end of the HENRO exhibition. This is your last chance to see the series on display in Alkmaar.
Sunday, 20 September — Inspiration Day
12:00–18:00, with a mini masterclass at 15:00.
Hazenkoog 9, 1822 BS Alkmaar, Netherlands
Spaces are limited and registration is required.
One more thing before I close. In early September, I will be opening my solo exhibition with MC2 Gallery in Milan. I will provide the full details in two weeks.
I look forward to welcoming you.
